Set Google as the default search engine in Internet Explorer on Windows 7
Somehow Microsoft seem to have forgotten to add Google to the list of options of default search engines when you first load Internet Explorer on a new installation of Windows 7. There is an easy way to add Google as the default search engine though: the older Add...Recent Places shortcut on task bar
Once the Windows Explorer Properties window opens, empty whatever is in te Target field and copy/paste this in: %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe “%userprofile%\Links\RecentPlaces.lnk”Windows Explorer paths
Default setting: %windir%\explorer.exe “Recent Items” directory can also be found in the directory structure by following this path: C:\Users\{name}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent My Computer %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe...Remove “No comments” on WordPress search results
