Digital Red is a small business and its survival depends on customers' prompt payment. Despite this, some companies ignore, lie, cheat or dodge their invoices even when work has been completed on their project.
Academy Models of Cardiff, operated by Kris Agland holds a bad debt.
- On 2nd December 2005, Digital Red registered www.academy-models.com for Academy Models, though despite the invoices and reminders which were sent and promises of payment were received, nothing arrived.
- On 30th March 2006, Digital Red filed a claim in the small claims court against Academy Models - claim number 6QZ20625 at Northampton. You can see a copy of the claim against Academy Models here as a PDF.
- No defence was filed, so on 19th April 2006, Digital Red filed a request for a Judgement by Default. You can see a copy of the request here as a PDF.
- On 20th April 2006, Northampton County Court issued Judgement against Academy Models in accordance with Digital Red's request. You may see a copy of the Notice of Judgement Entered against Academy Models here as a Flash file.
- To date, the invoice remains outstanding and interest owed is growing on a daily basis.
