Passion Online was launched in 1999 by Faith Attwell. It is a SME (Small to Medium enterprise), a privately owned firm and the philosophy of the company is good customer service, delivered at a competitive price.

Back in 1999 the online adult shopping market was served by a handful of companies and it was felt they were either not offering good delivery terms, were closely linked with the porn industry or did not display honest and fair terms and conditions. Those better known firms had web sites which were seemed overpriced and difficult to navigate.
